As of June 8th, just one month after our first membership, Giving2Grow has 23 paid members! That brings us to $10,500 in our grant pool for 2014! This is a terrific achievement for a brand new non-profit, especially since the memberships keep coming in. We are now in an excellent position to make a real improvement in the nutrition and health in the children of SW Pennsylvania.
All memberships paid by June 30th will automatically go into the 2014 grant pool. Memberships received after June 30th will be gladly accepted and may go to 2014, or to 2015 grants.
Grant applications are due Sept 1, 2014. We’ll need lots of members to help read the incoming grant proposals and to make site visits.
